Bio
Elkie Burnside (she/they) is an Associate Director of the Writing Program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and in this role focuses on curriculum and assessment. Stemming from their work with Kairos: A Journal of Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy, they pursue ways to value and incorporate ethical, open access scholarly practices for knowledge making. Her interests include the intersections of digital rhetoric, maker/creating, and instructional design.
